SOC 2 Type II Readiness
Accelerate B2B sales cycles and prove your commitment to data security with a flawless, audit-ready compliance framework.
Begin SOC 2 ReadinessB2B SaaS requires verifiable trust.
If your organization stores, processes, or transmits customer data in the cloud, a SOC 2 Type II report is no longer optional—it is a strict prerequisite for doing business with enterprise clients.
Unlike a Type I report which evaluates security at a single point in time, a SOC 2 Type II report proves that your security controls have been operating effectively over a continuous observation period (typically 3 to 12 months). Cyberella Corps manages this entire lifecycle, bridging the gap between your current operations and the strict demands of AICPA auditors.
Mapping to the AICPA Trust Services Criteria.
Security (Common Criteria)
The mandatory foundation of any SOC 2 audit. We ensure your systems are protected against unauthorized access through strict access controls, firewalls, and intrusion detection.
Availability
Prove your system's resilience. We review disaster recovery plans, redundancy architectures, and performance monitoring to guarantee your service meets SLA commitments.
Confidentiality
Protect sensitive B2B data. We implement data classification policies, robust encryption standards (at rest and in transit), and strict vendor NDA tracking.
Processing Integrity
Ensure data is processed accurately, completely, and timely. Ideal for financial platforms and e-commerce, ensuring system outputs are completely free of errors.
Privacy
Safeguard Personal Identifiable Information (PII). We align your data collection, use, retention, and disclosure policies with the AICPA privacy principles.
Our structured approach to SOC 2 readiness.
Gap Analysis & Scoping
We determine exactly which Trust Services Criteria apply to your SaaS offering. We then assess your current infrastructure, HR policies, and development workflows to identify gaps against the AICPA standards.
Policy Drafting
Auditors require proof. We draft the mandatory policies—from Access Control to Incident Response—that form the administrative backbone of your SOC 2 report.
Technical Remediation
We guide your engineering teams to implement missing technical controls, such as MFA enforcement, log aggregation, encryption, and secure SDLC practices.
Observation Period & Audit Defense
A Type II report requires evidence gathered over time. We establish evidence collection workflows during your observation period and act as your liaison during the final CPA audit to defend your controls.
What you get.
System Description (Section 3)
We draft the mandatory narrative overview of your company's infrastructure, software, people, procedures, and data boundaries required by auditors.
Risk & Control Matrix
A mapped matrix that aligns your specific business controls directly to the AICPA Trust Services Criteria, ensuring no testing gaps during the audit.
Evidence Repository
A structured, organized folder hierarchy containing all policy acknowledgments, screenshots, and logs required to definitively prove continuous compliance.

asked questions
What is the difference between SOC 2 Type I and Type II?
Type I assesses the design of your security controls at a specific point in time (e.g., 'Are your policies documented today?'). Type II assesses the operational effectiveness of those controls over a period of time (e.g., 'Did you actually follow those policies for the last 6 months?'). Enterprise buyers almost exclusively require Type II.
How long is the observation period for a Type II audit?
The observation period is typically between 3 to 12 months. For a company's very first SOC 2 Type II audit, a 3-month or 6-month period is common to accelerate the process, followed by annual 12-month audits thereafter.
Do we need to comply with all five Trust Services Criteria?
No. 'Security' (Common Criteria) is the only mandatory category. You can choose to add Availability, Confidentiality, Processing Integrity, or Privacy based on what your customers demand and the nature of your SaaS platform.
Will you provide the final SOC 2 report?
Cyberella prepares you for the audit, but the final SOC 2 attestation report MUST be issued by an independent, licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) firm. We work closely with leading CPA firms to ensure your audit runs smoothly and successfully.
Can we use automated compliance platforms like Vanta or Drata?
Yes, we highly recommend them. Our advisors are experts at implementing and integrating compliance automation tools (like Vanta, Drata, or Secureframe) to streamline your evidence collection and significantly reduce your internal workload.
